Head of Sales and Marketing

Job description


Company: Budapest based B2B IT service provider. Specializing in Cloud services, DevOps solutions, AI and App development.

Reports to: General Manager

Supervisor of: Marketing assistant, 2 sales reps

Job Overview: Execute and continuously finetune corporate commercial strategy. Lead sales team, oversee marketing team. Create and leverage synergies between both functions. 75-25 focus with regards to sales-marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Create action plan to execute sales and marketing strategy
  • Create optimal KPIs, monitor and evaluate them
  • Supervise, motivate and develop all direct reports
  • Developing strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic
  • Identifying the appropriate sales channels
  • Deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base
  • Identify and target potential client segments
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Hungarian (presentation, negotiation, etc.)
  • Sales experience (advantage if also marketing)
  • Knowledge of the local market
  • Professional experience in the IT industry
  • People management skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

  • An established customer network
  • Good knowledge of the EMEA/US markets
